[OUWC] Secretary/Apparel exec position

Great job this morning! It was great seeing everyone and I'm excited for our semester ahead! Make sure you drink lots of water today and get a nutritious meal in! Our biggest thing over winter training is people getting sick so stay on top of your health :) It's important!


I want to remind everyone that the secretary/apparel position is still open. Here is the official list of duties that you can also find in our by-laws. You are welcome to contact Blaes for more information. She will also be around this semester and will teach you everything you need to know once you are elected. I'm going to high light the things that you will spend most of your time doing.


Secretary/ Apparel Chair

  1.  Record detailed minutes of all meetings and email them to team members afterwards.

  2.  Keep an updated team roster, personally and within the Club Sports office, including year-round phone and email contacts

  3.  File all records of attendance; follow through with disciplinary action if needed.

  4.  Reserve rooms for team meetings and the end of the year banquet

  5.  Work with vice president to keep current alumnae records for special events and banquets.

  6.  Organize transportation to and from practices in a timely manner.

  7.  Keep individual driving logs and send them to the treasurer.

  8.  Keep detailed logs to ensure success and smoothness.

  9.  Approve all apparel designs through the Club Sports Office prior to ordering.

  10. Design and order apparel along with input from the team.

  11. Order skins and uni-suits in the winter, and varsity jackets in the spring.

  12. Collect money prior to ordering apparel.

  13. Keep accurate records of orders and invoices in accordance with the treasurer.

Let me know if you have any other questions regarding the position or anything else. We will have elections at our first meeting next Monday. (I know it's MLK day, so we might move it to another day next week, not sure yet. I'll keep you posted).
