[OUWC] winter training details

Hello!! I hope everyone is excited and ready to start our spring season :) I want to give you a little more detail about our workout schedule so you have a better understanding of what this winter season will look like. Keenan or I will try to send out updates/changes before every week. For novice: Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays will be erging and cardio. Tuesdays and Thursdays will solely be for lifting/strength training. For varsity: Mondays and Fridays will be erging, Tuesdays and Thursdays will be lifting. Expect to have Wednesday practices as we get closer to spring break. We will have some Saturday practices and they will become more consistent when we can get out on the water.

Also, expect to have 2ks every two weeks. Our first 2k test will be this Friday, January 13th. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact me or Keenan!


If you know that you can not make one of these practices please let us know on Sunday before each week starts that way we can plan some sort of alternative workout  for you. Please please please check your teamsnap every Sunday and mark which practices you can/cannot attend for the week. On teamsnap, yellow flag means practice for both teams, blue is novice, and purple is varsity. Again, any questions, suggestions, or concerns contact me or Keenan! See you all tomorrow morning!
