“Suckers, Fins and Legs: Insights into the Evolution of Functional Diversity”
Monday, November 17, 4:00-5:00 PM in Irvine 159.
Drawing on his work on vertebrate limb bone safety factors, waterfall climbing Hawaiian fishes and terrestrial locomotion in mudskippers, Dr. Blob’s talk will explore how biomechanical analyses at different biological scales can give insight into the origin and evolution of functional diversity.
Rick will be available for an informal chat over coffee on Tuesday from 10:00-11:00 AM in LSB 127. All are welcome.
