[OUWC] Thanksgiving Dinner READ READ READ!!!

"Hi girls. After the thanksgiving dinner the boys would like to have us stay for a small get together/ social with both teams. Everyone is welcomes to stay, but don't feel pressured to drink.
As a reminder, please make sure you know your limit and don't drink over the top. It's for your own safety so you don't get in trouble and don't end up in the hospital but also because your teammates shouldn't have to be babysitting you.
We've implemented a new rule where you have three strikes. If you end up over the top sick, way to drunk to handle or you're drunk behavior is just not acceptable a strike will be counted against you. If you loose your three strikes you will no longer be allowed to attend socials. It's for your own safety and for the better of the team.
With that said, you're all more than welcome to stay after and hang out but please be mindful how much you're having to drink and please don't walk home by yourself. Varsity and exec will be around to walk you home. We're super excited for our first huge combined team dinner an hopefully you are too! See you then

The boys who live in the boathouse will be providing the turkey for the team. So we need to bring the sidedishes and desserts (both teams will be bringing the same things that way there is enough for everyone....does that make sense?) So we've come up with an idea of a basic thanksgiving dinner list but we're open to any suggestions and dishes and you MUST reply by Tuesday what you're bringing. Knowing that a lot of the novice live in dorms, we do have a lot of Varsity and some other Novice members that live in apartments and have access to a kitchen so when you guys reply to this email with what you're gonna bring, I can pair you up with Varsity and you guys can work together to get that dish covered. I'm making this on a first come first serve basis so reply ASAP!



Any Question? Email me or text me but I need to have you guys signed up by Tuesday so I can let Mike know what we're all signed up for and make sure we're matching up with the mens team!

So here are your choices and if you want to bring anything that isn't on this list just tell me what it is and you can bring it!

  *   Any type of appetizers
     *   Spinach Dip, Salsa
  *   Casseroles
  *   Stuffing
  *   Cranberry Sauce
  *   Vegetables
     *   Green Beans, Corn, Broccoli, Brussell Sprouts
  *   Mashed Potatoes and Gravy
  *   Sweet Potatoes
  *   Homemade Mac and Cheese
  *   Cornbread
  *   Apple Pie
  *   Pumpkin Pie
  *   Carrot Pinapple Salad
  *   Cider

The list can go on but just make sure you reply by Tuesday so we can pair you up with Varsity if need be and also so you guys have enough time to go shopping!

We're so excited to have this and cant wait.
