I. Treasury Funds
-Winter Quarter dues are $70. They are due in two weeks, Thursday's
meeting January 29. The quarter dues are used to pay for the coaching
staff, pay our club sports fees to the university and to pay for our
US Rowing affiliation. If you have any problems with paying dues,
contact Tegan Lee Mason.
-Tegan has information about people who still owe for the grey crew
shirts ordered in the fall. If you still need to pick yours up or
still need to pay for your shirt, contact Tegan as soon as possible.

II. LDWS
-Club Sports is putting on a leadership workshop for all club teams.
This workshop is Wednesday January 21, at 9PM in the Ping lounge.
-This workshop's topic is sexual assault. Attendance is mandatory for
the whole team. Contact Jill if you have an excusable absence, such
as class or work. The team receives points from club sports for
member present and these point correlate directly to money for the
team. Plus...these workshops are always tons of fun and a good way
for the team to bond together.

III. Practice
-The attendance policy laid out in the Code of Conduct will be
followed strictly beginning next week. This means if you (rower or
coxswain) miss a practice unexcused, you will not only make up the
missed practice but also row a 5K under the supervision of an
executive board member.
-Jill's contact info is (330) 612-0381 js460606 at ohio.edu and Nick's
info is (740) 360-0893. Let one of these people know if you are to
miss practice, preferably earlier than the morning of practice.
-Ping has contacted the executive board members and brought some
things to our attention. First and foremost, you should never row so
hard you make yourself sick. If you feel at all ill or are in
desperate need of a drink, please please please take a break. Ping
has also made of point of the team standing on the track. To
alleviate this problem, the team has a new policy. If you are caught
standing on the track, you will have to run a lap. This will be
enforced started next week.

IV. Fundraising
- Thursday February 5th will be the first team fundraiser of the
quarter. The Code of Conduct states all fundraisers are MANDATORY,
unless you have an excusable absence. This fundraiser is parking cars
for a basketball game. It is from 3:30-8:30 pm.
-Mark down the date and keep it open. Sara will have a sign up sheet
at the next meeting.

V. Heart Health Day
-Tomorrow is Heart Health Awareness Day (or something of a very
similiar name.) Heart Disease is the number one killer of women in
the United States. To bring attention to this issue, club sports has
asked all the teams to wear red tomorrow. So throw on your scarlet
knit sweater and rock out.

your lovely sec
Jessi
