Task Oriented Dimensions
- A challenge would come from having your stakeholders be patient enough
to see positive results. Failing to get things done in a timely manner may
cause others to pressure you to move on.
- In the process of getting tasks done, it can be necessary to be a
no-nonsense, narrow minded type of leader which can have negative impact on
relations of personable nature.
- Structural, transactional, and rational intersections.
Relations Oriented Dimensions
- The challenge would be to have the ability to understand a variety of
personal perspectives when facing changes. The time involved in achieving
all these perspectives would be substantial in a time demanding environment.
- The positive aspect of this would be to know your subordinates and how
to appropriately delegate responsibilities and tasks.
- Human resource, transformational, and natural intersections.
Change Oriented Dimensions
- A strength would be the ability to keep up with the change that is
happening with the community, student styles, etc.
- Difficulty is to try and get others on board with the change. When an
unexpected problem happens it has to be dealt with in a timely manner so
that stakeholders don't loose interest in the change.
- Difficulty is to own a change that you personally do not agree with.
This is important for getting everyone on board and behind the change.
- Symbolic, transformational, and natural intersections.
