[Ouretail] NEW Customer Service COURSE - SPRING 2013

Greetings RFPD students!

Happy Winter break - enjoy some R&R...

I want to let you know that there is a NEW course that has just been added to the SPRING 2013 course offerings:

CONS 4953: Workshop in Customer Service
Course # 12414; 3 semester credit hours
Meets: Wednesdays 4:15 - 7:00 p.m. in Grover Center W320

Although currently, I am listed as the instructor, Mr. Richard Wilhelm will be the workshop instructor for the course this spring term. Mr. Wilhelm offers extensive customer service and leadership experience resulting from his career as Director/ President/CEO of the Plaza Hotel in New York City, as well as work at The Waldorf-Astoria Hotel and The St. Regis - Sheraton in NYC.  Mr. Wilhelm bring national and international perspectives of customer service excellence to this class opportunity!

There are no pre-requisites for this course; you can register electronically at your convenience.  This course DOES fill the "business, communication, visual" requirement for the Retail Merchandising and Fashion Product Development major.

You may remember a recent email about a Minor in Customer Service (OR8161), which is available. This course is part of the required curriculum for that minor. To earn the minor, the following five courses must be completed.:
  CONS 2500: Families as Consumers in Global Communities
  CONS 3100: HR for Customer Service Professions
  CONS 3890 Career Development for Customer Service Professions OR RFPD 3890 Professional Career Search Strategies
  CONS 4953: Workshop in Customer Service
  CONS 4915: Internship in Customer Service (3-12 hours)
