OUCTMers: Please note below the meeting information for both OUCTM this week and OU-NSTA. Dr. Foley's Tuesday talk should be interesting! As the state of Ohio implements its four years of HS math requirement, we need to know what we will do for a lot of our students who may not want to take (or may not be ready for) Calculus or Statistics. Dr. Foley has some classroom-tested ideas that are gaining a lot of statewide and nationwide traction. Come and you'll have a 'leg-up' in those job interviews, having some concrete knowledge of what fourth-year math should look like!

Dear learning community

This week's OU-NSTA (science education student) meeting will begin at 8 PM tonight (Monday) in the lobby of McCracken (first floor).  The group then will go to a room on the third floor, but the president of the organization wants to meet in the lobby first.

This week's OUCTM (mathematics education student) meeting will begin at 7:30 PM tomorrow (Tuesday) in room 234 McCracken.  I will make a presentation on Four Years for High School Mathematics for All Students: What Should It Look Like?
