[Newman-l] Week 4-Heaven/Hell/Purgatory

Hey Everyone!!



Get ready for our meeting this Wednesday (April 18th) at 7:15 pm at the PC!! It is about Heaven, Hell, and Purgatory...so you don't want to miss it! Father Mark will be there to talk about the subject.  Here are some dates you should put in your planner:



-Catholic Views and Brews (CVB) this Tuesday (tomorrow) at 6:30 pm at Redbrick. The topic will be on "Vocations" and recognizing your part in God's plan.  Dakota will be incharge of this meeting...so come and enjoy a good talk and good food!



-DON'T FORGET! This week is trash clean up! It is for the Russ College of Engineering and it takes place in the ARC classrooms. Tuesday (tomorrow) will be at 7 pm and Thursday (April 19th) will be at 8:30 pm. Please come and help raise a few easy bucks for Newman! Also, if you are unsure where exactly it takes place or have any other questions, don't be afraid to ask Megan!



-This Thursday (April 19th) will be a Formal Planning meeting at 8:00 pm. It will be a 30 minute meeting going over ideas and themes. If you weren't at the last meeting, don't sweat it!! There is always room for help!



-Pancake Breakfast will be this Sunday (April 22nd) from 8:00 am to 11:00 am. To help set up, it will be on Saturday (April 21st) at 5:00 pm. The set up shouldn't take long.



-Next week on Monday (April 23rd) at 8:00 pm will be a Planning Meeting on Noah's Ark for that Wednesday's (April 25th) meeting. Please Come help me plan it out! It will be at the PC in the lounge.

-Athens Beautification Day will be taken place on April 29th.  A free shirt, coffe (from Donkey), and free BBQ sandwiches will be provided. It also doesn't cost ANYTHING to help out, so come get free stuff while making Athens a better place! What a deal!



-PNO will be on May 5th. The time will be announced soon.



-Relay for life will be May 11th to May 12th. The more the better! There will be a bake sale before the event.



-Formal will be May 12th. Information will be given out later. Save the date!



-SPRING RETREAT!!! It will be at St. John's on May 18th to May 20th. More information will be given out later. So save the date!
