[Newman-l] Lenten Prayer Groups

Hey Newmaners! 

This Lent Newman is forming Lenten prayer groups. You might be asking what Lenten Prayer groups are, these groups are being formed as something extra to participate in during lent Lent. It is completely optional to participate but it is a nice thing to do during this special time in our religious calendar. The activities the groups participate in and when and how often they meet is up to the group to decide but once a week is a good goal to have if you can. Some activities for the groups are going to stations of the cross, fish fries, daily mass, dinners, reading scripture, saying the rosary together or anything else the group wants to do to enhance the Lenten experience.

If you are interested in participating in Lenten Prayer groups let me know by Saturday at 11am so I can email the group assignments (chosen randomly) and the prayer group members can begin to talk to each other! If you already signed up on the sheet Wednesday you don't have to respond to this email because I have the list!
