[Mathregionals] Summer and Ratings to Raises policies for vote

Hello,

I am attaching two policies on which we are ready to vote:

* Policy on Summer Teaching Assignments.
Compared to the version sent for comments, the only nontrivial change is
the addition of "specialty skills required for a specific course or
format," to the list of priority criteria in assigning courses.
There has been no opposition to this proposal, so the recommendation is
to vote for it.

* Policy on the Use of Ratings to Determine Merit Raises.
Compared to the version sent for comments, there are no nontrivial
changes. There has been no opposition to this proposal, so the
recommendation is to vote for it.

There are three ways to vote:

1) At the faculty meeting tomorrow.

2) In the main office during the voting period,  Tuesday 26 March noon
to Tuesday 2 April noon. Ask Molly, Nickie, or Tammy for a ballot.

3) By proxy. Either send an email to Molly, Nickie, or Tammy asking to
cast your vote a certain way, or send them an email authorizing someone
else to vote on your behalf.

Passage requires a majority of Group I and II faculty (Athens campus),
not just a majority of those casting votes, so please vote. Regional
faculty are not eligible to vote but are included on this email for
their information.
