Greetings,

This email is being sent to all graduate/program directors as well as
associate deans and other major contacts for the graduate college. I
apologize if this does not pertain to your students directly.

Attached, please find the final draft of deadlines for formal, written
theses and dissertations for Academic Year 2013-14. I plan to put these on
the website at http://www.ohio.edu/tad at the start of next week so
students preparing for Fall graduation are able to access them before
Spring graduation. These dates follow the same formula used for the current
academic year.

*Regular Semester:*****

   - Oral defense deadlines are on Friday of week 12 (11 in summer, 9 for
   Doctoral in spring) ****
   - Format review deadlines are on Friday of week 13 (12 in summer, 10 for
   Doctoral in spring) ****
   - Final clearance deadlines are on Friday of Week 15 (14 in summer, 12
   for Doctoral in spring)****


*Early deadlines:*****

   - Oral defense deadlines are on Friday two weeks before clearance
   deadline (three weeks before before clearance deadline in Spring due to
   Winter Break Closure) ****
   - Format review deadlines are one week before clearance deadline ****
   - Final clearance deadlines are on Friday before classes begin****


Graduation application dates listed on the table are taken from the
Registrar’s academic calendar.
