[Hlthpol] Fellows' Activities Updates

Hello Fellows and List Serve members:

Two Health Policy Fellows became Fellows in the American College of Osteopathic Family Physicians during the March 2010 ACOFP convention in Las Vegas.

Rob Hunter, D.O, ACOFP, HPF Class of 2010, practices family and emergency medicine in Huber Heights, Ohio.

Randy Litman, D.O., ACOFP, HPF Class of 2010, serves as Associate Dean of Clinical Sciences at Pikeville College School of Osteopathic Medicine in Pikeville, Kentucky.


Joseph Giaimo, D.O., HPF Class of 2007, was awarded the Florida Osteopathic Medical Association Doctor of the Year award at the FOMA annual convention. Dr. Giaimo, a pulmonologist practicing in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, serves on the Physicians Payment Advisory Committee (PPAC) and as Third Vice President of the AOA.

Larry Suess, D.O., HPF Class of 1999, is a candidate for Kentucky's State House of Representatives (12th District).  Dr. Suess, a psychiatrist practicing in Hansen, Kentucky, is running against incumbent Jim Gooch in the May 13th primary.
