[Geog_Jobs] Water Resources Planning Intern (Columbus, OH - MORPC)

The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) is seeking a Water Resources Planning Intern to provide assistance to MORPC's water resources planning work. This intern would be an undergraduate or graduate student working under the direct supervision of full-time staff and guided by higher level planners or engineers on a frequent basis. Pay is $13.50/hr.

Examples of Duties:
·       • Assist with MORPC's water resources program, including but not limited to the Central Ohio Water Resources Planning (COWRP) and Sustaining Scioto projects;
• Collect, analyze, and summarize data and best practices related to watershed, land use, and resiliency planning;
• Perform analysis of current research and best practices related to the above concepts and prepare interpretive reports;
• Assist with curating and developing content related to the above concepts and prepare content to be disseminated via various channels (website, social
media, reports, presentations, etc.)
• Attend and participate in meetings with MORPC members and stakeholders;
• Assist with meeting and event preparation related to the above projects/programs.
