The Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission (MORPC) is seeking a Water Resources Planning Intern to provide assistance to MORPC's water resources planning work. This intern would be an undergraduate or graduate student working under the direct supervision of
full-time staff and guided by higher level planners or engineers on a frequent basis.
<b class="">Pay is $13.50/hr</b>.

<div class="">Examples of Duties:<br class="">
· • Assist with MORPC's water resources program, including but not limited to the Central Ohio Water Resources Planning (COWRP) and Sustaining Scioto
<span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"></span>projects;<br class="">
<div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"></span>• Collect, analyze, and summarize data and best practices related to watershed, land use, and resiliency planning;<br class="">
</div>
<div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"></span>• Perform analysis of current research and best practices related to the above concepts and prepare interpretive reports;<br class="">
</div>
<div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"></span>• Assist with curating and developing content related to the above concepts and prepare content to be disseminated via various channels (website, social</div>
<div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"></span>media, reports, presentations, etc.)<br class="">

<div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"></span>• Attend and participate in meetings with MORPC members and stakeholders;<br class="">

<div class=""><span class="Apple-tab-span" style="white-space:pre"></span>• Assist with meeting and event preparation related to the above projects/programs.</div>
