Dear International Counseling Student,
My name is Alexandra Ioakeimidou, and I am a doctoral candidate in Counselor Education at Montclair State University, USA. I am conducting a research study on the cross-cultural supervision experiences of international counseling students in the USA. I would appreciate you adding your voice to this study.
If you: 1) identify as an international counseling student in the United States of America (F1- Visa), 2) are enrolled in a master's level, CACREP accredited Counseling program, and 3) participated in individual or triadic supervision during your field placement within the last semester (Fall 2023) or previous year (Fall 2022, Spring 2023, Summer 2023), I would like to take this opportunity to invite you to participate in this study.
This study aims to explore the critical components of a meaningful and culturally sensitive supervision experience according to international counseling supervisees. Your participation will add value and a different perspective to counseling programs. Participation is voluntary and anonymous and will not impact your relationship with your program or field placement.
