Dear Counselor Educator



I, Ibrahim Akmese, am a Ph.D. Candidate in Counselor Education and Supervision program at Ohio University. I am in the process of collecting data for my doctoral dissertation titled “Grief Competency of Licensed Professional Counselors and School Counselors.” This study is approved by the Institutional Review Board (IRB) at Ohio University (23-X-137). Licensed school counselors are my potential participants in this study. To be able to reach out to potential participants, licensed counselors in the state of Ohio, I am kindly asking if you can share the study with licensed school counselors who are currently supervising your school counseling students or had supervised students in the past.  The distribution of the study to school counselors through personal connections will also be appreciated.
