We are in the process of conducting a search to fill  Post Master’s Fellow (PMF) positions at the Carruth Center for Counseling and Psychological Services at WVU. We are moving forward with conducting first round interviews over the next few weeks.  If  you have students who may be interested,  please encourage them to submit materials as soon as possible.  We are hopeful that we will be adding new position’s soon  that have a student athlete  or working with diverse/marginalized students focus.

Would you be able to forward this on to any recent graduates?  The anticipated start date is mid to late July and the position is a year to year appointment with potential of continuing into a second year.  We offer supervision for licensure in the state of WV and training in the college counseling setting to recent counseling graduates.  The salary is $40,000 and includes benefits, most notably two vacation days a month (24 days) and sick leave. The fellows work as staff in our center, attending training seminars, receiving supervision while doing the work of a college counselor.  Notably, most of our PMF have been opted to stay on at the counseling center and are current staff members!

Applicants need to have passed the NCE and submit provisional licensure paperwork to the WV licensing board prior to the start date so that they are poised to start accruing hours.
