Hope to find you well! My name is Chase Morgan-Swaney (he/him). I am a doctoral candidate in the CACREP-accredited Counselor Education and Supervision Ph.D. program at The University of Akron. I am pleased to cordially invite you to participate in my dissertation research. The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship among new professionals' affirmative training, implicit bias, and affectional identity (sexual orientation) counselor competencies.

To contribute to this study, participants must 1.) be at least 18 years of age and 2.) have graduated from a CACREP-accredited master's or doctoral program within the past three years.

Participation is voluntary and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Participants will complete an online survey consisting of a demographic questionnaire, two self-report measures, and one survey-software Implicit Association Test ([IAT]; Carpenter et al., 2019; Greenwald et al., 1998). Participants' privacy will be protected as no identifying information will be collected.

The research protocol was approved by The University of Akron Institutional Review Board ([IRB]; #20230516).
