University of Akron. I am pleased to cordially invite you to participate in my dissertation research. The purpose of the study is to investigate the relationship among new professionals’ affirmative training, implicit bias, and affectional identity (sexual
orientation) counselor competencies. </span><o:p></o:p></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">To contribute to this study, participants must 1.) be at least 18 years of age and 2.) have graduated from a CACREP-accredited master’s or doctoral program within the past
three years.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif"><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-size:12.0pt;font-family:"Times New Roman",serif">Participation is voluntary and will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. Participants will complete an online survey consisting of a demographic questionnaire, two
self-report measures, and one survey-software Implicit Association Test ([IAT]; Carpenter et al., 2019; Greenwald et al., 1998). Participants’ privacy will be protected as no identifying information will be collected.</span><o:p></o:p></p>
