[Counselor_Educ] Akron General - F/T Inpatient Adjunctive Therapist

The Adjunctive Therapist works under the general supervision of the Director of Nsg/Pt. Services for 6100/6400,Center for Psychiatry and Behavioral Sciences, and is responsible for providing group therapy to patients on inpatient psychiatric units.


Minimum Qualifications

Masters Degree in education, psychology, or related field and current registration to practice in the State of Ohio. Licensed as PC (PCC or PCC-S preferred). Demonstrable clinical proficiency. Ability to establish and maintain courteous cooperative and respectful relations with patients, staff, and others contacted in the course of work.

Effective interpersonal skills. Effective verbal and written communication skills. Adequate physical and mental health in order to provide all types of treatment. Demonstrated responsibility, initiative, and leadership skills.

Membership in professional organization preferred.
