> Ph.D., or Ed.D in Rehabilitation Counselor Education or a related field from a regionally accredited institution.

> Teaching experience at the undergraduate level; 
> Evidence of scholarly publications; 
> Experience teaching courses related to substance abuse/addictions and/or LCAS or commitment to sit for the exam;

> Reputation as recognized scholar and/or teacher in field;
