[Classclimate-users] Students not getting surveys

All,

Thanks to everyone for sharing their experiences --  it is always helpful to work together on solutions for issues we encounter in Class Climate.
The program bug that caused us to include the withdrawn students did not affect student emails, though.  It caused us to have too many students in our course files, but did not change anything with the students' email addresses or the distribution of email to students regarding their evaluations.  That part of the process wasn't affected.  I would guess that those students who did not contact anyone after they were directed to check spam folders/other (forwarded) email accounts probably found their email in another location.  More student feedback might also be the result of additional emphasis placed on completing the evals??

I know there are always issues with forwarded emails from OU accounts, but I"m wondering if the problem this time might be related to the problem that OIT made us aware of involving the "withdrawn" students. Megan or Judy can weigh in here, but my understanding is that some process or script didn't go off this time before the data load, and I'M wondering if some emails from enrolled students simply didn't make it from PeopleSoft to Class Climate.

I admit that I'M just conjecturing here, but I'Ve gotten more emails than usual this semester from instructors saying that students in their courses did not receive the eval email. It could just be coincidence though, especially if only Marlene and I are encountering these cases.
