[Classclimate-users] Students not getting surveys

I have recently heard from an instructor/grad student where the student forwarded their email to a non-OU account and it ended up in a spam folder. If you have students asking about missing evaluations, I would first check your original recipient list for the student's email. If they are in the list, then I would ask the student to check for a spam folder. If this is an issue, we really need to get the word out.

Jody,
I had only a handful of students who contacted faculty and were forwarded to me – most were students who were using non-OU email accounts. I suggested they check their OU email accounts and let me know if they could not find the email. None contacted me.

There was one student using an OU email account. I do not know if he was an OU employee, but I suggested to him that if he was or had been recently, he might have received the email to that account. He did not get back to me.

OTOH… I also sent another reminder – and added “see link in email”. :)

                Marlene Shostak and I have both encountered some cases in our fall course evals where some students enrolled in a course never received an evaluation survey for the course. Has anyone else gotten emails from students or instructors about this? I'm trying to figure out if maybe some of the course data coming from the Registrar somehow omitted some student emails from a course. Let us know.
