[ASU] Message of Condolence

Dear Colleagues:

   As we may all have heard the sad news about the death of H.E. Umaru 
Yar'Adua, president of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, I am writing to 
express my condolence to all African, and especially, Nigerian students and 
faculty in Ohio University.

  It is unfortunate that as we mourn the death of the former president,the 
death is also reported of Prof. Esaiba Irobi,formerly of the Department of 
Theater, Ohio University. May his soul and that of the ex-president rest in 
perfect peace.

  I pray that God grants all of us the strength to live through these 
heartbreaking times.
