[ASU] O.U World Cup

Hello All,

As most of us know, International Week is starting this weekend and we are going to open it with our first match against Europe on Sunday  in the OU World Cup tournament, and am sure we are all looking forward to it. Captain Kwabena and I have being in touch with most of our players but want to leave the door open for any soccer enthusiast, who wants to help us retain the title, to get in touch with us. We will be playing a Friday "pick-up" game at the World Cup Venue on South Green starting from 6:00pm as a warm-up. Please, stop by timely so we can get this going.

Also there are  “Love & Hope for Haiti” t-shirts that are available for sale by Bokamoso Leadership Forum (BLF), of which all proceeds from the sale will go directly to Freddy (a Haitian OU Alumnus, who took part in all our soccer matches during his stay here) and COSPED (a relief organization co-founded by Freddy). The t-shirts are 1/$15 or 2/$25. We could wear black to help with his effort and also to honor our late professor, Dr. Irobi, and the late President Yar'Adua.

This Sunday's matches are as follows:
Africa v Europe @ 11.00am
Africa v Asia @ 1:30pm

For players, please show up at 10am on Sunday so we can get set before time.
