[Aphio-L] Leadership Info!

[Leadership Delta Gamma]

Hello Everyone!

Since we have so many new brothers and pledges I just wanted to go over
again what LEADS and Sectionals are:

*LEADS:*
APO LEADS is a leadership development program that aims to address
different leadership skills to help you learn how to effectively lead
others.

Each of the letters of L.E.A.D.S. stands for a different program or
seminar- Launch, Explore, Achieve, Discover, and Serve. Launch is a
prerequisite for the other four courses and can be completed online.
Explore, Achieve, and Discover are usually completed at conferences. This
semester I have secured Achieve to be presented in March and our advisor,
Mike and I are working to have him present discover this semester! Serve is
actually a weekend long course and it is being offered in Canton this
summer! I have put most of these up on the website under leadership
development! Not only are these courses great to learn more about
leadership and help you in any leadership position you have or will have in
the future, but they also help you learn a lot about yourself and how you
lead others.

The next time to take LAUNCH is Tuesday, March 1st!

*Sectionals:*
This April, BGSU will be holding the annual Ohio Sectionals Conference.
This is a weekend dedicated to Leadership, Friendship, and Service with
brothers from chapters all around Ohio. During the weekend there will be
workshops about different aspects of Alpha Phi Omega, mini service
projects, a banquet to celebrate our success over the year, and fellowship
opportunities. These conferences are great resources to learn more about
AphiO and network with other chapters. At our next chapter I will have a
short meeting to go over information for sectionals.
