Dear Colleagues,

FYI, the email below will go out today to all students who were/are enrolled during either 2147 (summer) or 2151 (fall) semesters. Financial aid sends this informational email so that students are aware of the SAP requirements at the start of the academic year.

This may be good information to hare with UC 1000/1900 classes.

Best,

Greg

Subject: Satisfactory Academic Progress Policy Email

Ohio University is required to monitor the academic progress of all students to ensure financial aid recipients are maintaining Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP). A student's grade point average, successful course completion percentage, and progression toward degree completion are reviewed annually after spring semester grades are available. Students must be found to be meeting SAP requirements in order to continue receiving financial aid for all future academic years. The financial aid academic year begins with the summer semester each year. Please visit the following link to review the Ohio University SAP Policy.

http://www.ohio.edu/financialaid/postapply/postapply_sap.cfm

You must be meeting all SAP criteria by the annual review processed at the end of the spring semester unless you are currently on an approved SAP extension that has a monitoring period at the close of this fall semester. If you are not meeting all criteria at the end of your monitoring period, you will be at risk of losing your financial aid eligibility for the next academic year.
