Subject: First Tri-Beta Meeting of the Quarter!


Hello Tri-Beta,



I hope that everyone had a great Spring Break and are enjoying their schedules this Spring. As this is the beginning of week 2, our first Tri-Beta meeting is TOMORROW (Tuesday April 3rd, at 8pm). The room is different than last quarter and is now E218 Grover Center. It is important for everyone to attend this meeting as we have a lot to discuss. A few of the highlights that we will be going over at this meeting include:



-Brief introduction to any new members joining us this quarter

-Layout of our meetings this quarter

-Plans for canoe trip this spring to replace our Nature Hike requirement

-Faculty Dinner (What, where, when, and who)

        -Bring your suggestions for which professors you would like to invite to this great event!

-A look at service opportunities this quarter

-Overview of requirements and the process of becoming a Lifetime or Associate member of BBB

-New updates on our T-Shirts for this quarter



One additional announcement involves dues. Many of you have not paid the necessary dues for last quarter. As a reminder, it is $10 per quarter OR $25 for the whole year. Without these dues it is very difficult to plan such events as canoeing, faculty dinner, t-shirts, etc. You will not be able to apply for lifetime or associate membership OR go to the faculty dinner OR purchase a T-shirt until these dues are paid.
