Dear all,

There will be two seminars.  One is this afternoon, and the other is next Monday, the 10th.  Seminars are usually ~50 min long.  You may take an advantage of these seminars to fulfill one of membership requirements.  See below.

Research Seminar Series
Dr. Tami Panhuis, of Ohio Wesleyan University, will be presenting “Analysis of Placental Genes in the Live-bearer fish” on Monday, October 3, at 4pm in Irvine 159

The Frontiers in Science Lecture Series
Dr. Rita Colwell, a former director of the National Science Foundation, will be presenting her research (Environmental Microbiology) on Monday, October 10th, at 7:30 pm in Templeton Blackburn Alumni Memorial Auditorium.
