I hope your week has been going well! I have a list of upcoming events associated with Food Matters Club.

  *   Wednesday, 10/22 7pm at Athena Cinema: Fall Sustainability Film Series presents Appalshop Films<http://athenacinema.com/fall-sustainability-series-appalshop-films-one-night-only-wednesday-october-22nd/>: On our own Land and Ready for Harvest talking about coal fields and native forests.
  *   ?Thursday, 10/23 Ellis 113 at 5pm: Food for Thought Speaker Bill Moseley talks about The Causes and Consequences of the 2008 Global Food Crisis: Neoliberal Policy Reform and Food Security in West Africa. WOAH.
  *   Friday, 10/24 11-2: LAST Ohio Farmer's Market for the season at Howard Hall Site (corner of Union and College Street across College Green).
  *   Friday, 10/24 8pm: Benefit Show at Donkey Coffee. Locally sourced foods and music and poetry and dance. Yip!
  *   Friday, 10/31-11/1 Leaving at 3pm Friday: Road trip to Chatham University in Pittsburgh to visit their Master's of Food Studies Program. There will be workshops and a farm visit. CONTACT ASAP to go! Literally, by Thursday morning. Expenses paid trip (except food on the way there and back).
