DISCUSSION:
A warm front lifts through the region today for isolated showers and
maybe even a thunderstorm. Very warm conditions are expected on
Friday, with some broken record highs possible. A strong cold front
pushes through late Friday night and early Saturday with showers and
thunderstorms. The front will usher in much colder air on Saturday and
snow showers will be possible Saturday night into Sunday morning.
High pressure briefly returns for Sunday, but our next system rapidly
approaches Monday afternoon, with another weaker system moving through
on Wednesday.
