...DISCUSSION...

MOISTURE QUICKLY INCREASES THIS MORNING FROM THE SOUTH...
AS A WARM FRONT LIFTS NORTH.

PERIODS OF RAIN ARE LIKELY TODAY. IF THE RAIN ARRIVES...A FEW
POCKETS OF FREEZING RAIN ARE POSSIBLE INTO MID MORNING IN SOME OF
THE COLDER SHELTERED VALLEYS OF EASTERN KENTUCKY...SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA
AND SOUTHERN WEST VIRGINIA. THE POTENTIAL OF SOME AREAS OF FREEZING
RAIN LINGERS LONGER...INTO EARLY THIS AFTERNOON...FOR THE VALLEYS OF
POCAHONTAS COUNTY IN WEST VIRGINIA.

THE WARM FRONT WILL LIFT TO OUR NORTH TONIGHT.
SO TEMPERATURES WILL NOT DROP MUCH OVERNIGHT.

SOUTHWESTERLY FLOW WILL BRING NEAR RECORD HIGH TEMPERATURES ON
SATURDAY. A COLD FRONT WILL SWEEP ACROSS LATE SATURDAY NIGHT OR
SUNDAY MORNING...WITH GUSTY WINDS AND SOME SHOWERS. HIGH PRESSURE
THEN TAKES OVER FOR MONDAY AND TUESDAY WITH MORE SEASONABLE TEMPERATURES.
