Student Affairs - Assistant Director, Smith Career Center

Bradley University seeks an Assistant Director for the Smith Career Center to provide career planning and advisement and full-time job and internship search assistance to students of the Foster College of Business Administration.  This full-time position will also develop effective relationships with faculty from the Foster College of Business Administration, including the MBA Program.

The Assistant Director will:
•         Be expected to identify and develop relationships with employers to hire Bradley University students for internship and full-time career opportunities.
•         Conduct employer site visits, plan seminars, and coordinate special events for business students and employers.
•         Assist with marketing to employers.
•         Participate in cross-collaboration groups within the career center.

A Bachelor’s degree and experience in career counseling, career services, human resources, or related field is required.  A Master’s degree is preferred. Qualified candidates must have own transportation in order to conduct employer visits.  A successful candidate should have superior skills in presentation development and delivery; excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; ability to work effectively with diverse groups of people; demonstrated ability to effectively work in a team setting; and ability to successfully manage multiple high level tasks. Candidates may need to access Non-ADA compliant buildings.
