Hello 2nd Year CSPers!

Please find a NASPA The Placement Exchange reminder flyer attached to this email.

A few points to keep in mind:

*Register, Register, REGISTER if you have not already done so and are interested in attending. Please consider doing so--I have seen many recent job announcements mentioning that the employer will be present at TPE!
-->Registering allows you to take advantage of all of the online resources that are available such as question hours, virtual roundtables, and newsletters.

*Participate in Virtual Roundtables!

*Update your profile and upload your resume. - "TPE encourages all candidates to register, create a profile, and also upload a resume.  Many employers want to review resumes before they arrive at TPE and utilize this method which candidates to extend interviews to.
Optional: Candidates are not required to upload cover letter, resume, or references.  Each candidate can utilize TPE to represent themselves in the best manner they feel appropriate.
Candidates should also be aware some employers may require candidates to apply for position(s) through the interviewing institution/organization's website in addition to uploading a resume to TPE."

*Lastly, but still very important: CONNECT WITH EMPLOYERS! - "We are encouraging candidates to connect with employers to pre-schedule interviews to get the best experience possible at TPE. In some instances, employers will reach out to the candidates to schedule an interview but we also encourage candidates to connect with employers."  BE PROACTIVE!!!
