Coordinator I
Office of Student Organizations

The University of Tennessee Martin (UTM) has an immediate opening for a Coordinator I with a strong background in Student Organizations. The position is a unit of the Division of Student Affairs (SA). He/she works collaboratively with University faculty/staff to uphold the integrity of all student organizations. He/she may also work with the Student Government in some capacity. It is essential the coordinator establish strong and credible relationships to assist student groups in creating, implementing, and evaluating their values, mission, and programs.  


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
Bachelors Degree and two –three years office experience.

Experience using PC and Mac OS, Microsoft Office Suite, Database management and design with Filemaker and Access, Adobe Creative Suite including Dreamweaver, webpage design, Statistical analysis tools including Excel, SPSS, EViews, Org Sync, or other desk top publishing;
Experience in assessment of educational outcomes;
Excellent professional verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to handle sensitive information and maintain confidentiality.
Ability to work in a team environment with shared responsibilities
Proven competence in managing multiple tasks and competing priorities

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:  A Post-graduate degree in student personnel, student development, educational administration, or related field.
Salary Range is commensurate with experience.
