[Spa-L] Honduras service-learning information

Hello all:
For those of you interested in the Honduras service-learning program, please
see the program web site at:
http://www.ohio.edu/educationabroad/Programs/honduras.html.  This page
includes information on dates, cost, etc. Also, there is a youtube video
link on the site that vividly illustrates the program.

Service-learning is an approach that brings together community service and
academic learning. The program has drawn students from different disciplines
and from academic programs across the country. It is the only international
service-learning program in the USA offered by a HESA program. The program
includes only 2 weeks in Honduras, so students are able to participate in
this program, while also maintaining a summer practicum or internship.

It will particularly appeal to students interested in leadership programs,
community service, and diversity issues.
