Relay Committee Meeting
April 28, 2009

~Mission Moment- Hilary handed out American Cancer Society Program and Services papers.

~T Shirt Tye Dying/Day Drinking Friday May 8th 4:30-5ish 

~May 2nd 9am to 5pm Backdrop Magazine Fundraising yardsale at South Green

~Paint the town purple- week before relay. Looking into ribbons for trees (50 yds) 

~Been passing Cash Bag at meetings to collect for Relay

~At Mom's Walk this saturday from 10-12 there will be a signup sheet for relay t-shirts (collecting money on the spot) *May 8th is last day to sell                 the t-shirts to ensure the people will get them in time for Relay

~Red "Day of" t-shirts need to be ordered. If you were not at the meeting the 28th please email me (tori.aber at yahoo.com) with the size of t-                    shirt you need. Everyone needs one

~OU Drumline at opening ceremonies, on fliers passed out

~(Sherry) Making Twitter account to promote

~TABLING- In Baker, first floor Monday May 4th. 
           11-12 Tracey Pasha need two more volunteers 
           12-1  Morgan D, Ryan Haury, need one more
            1-2   Tori Aber, need two more

~Blood Donor Speaker may be at next meeting to talk about being at Relay

~Checks you collect should be made to OU Planning Committee and have your name on them

~Entertainment- Still getting contact with Adam Barbato, Jesty Beatz will start playing at 11. Hilary will look through storage for items needed                         for games

~Sponsorship- Collecting money from bars this weekend. Leave stars and moons in bars til after mom's weekend

~Team Recruitment- 69 Teams, $15,000+ towards our goal

~Food and Beverage- Hotdog machine- no grill needed, No word from GFS or Subway yet. Courtney is getting ahold of corporate Subway.

~Public Relations- Contacting Radio Station again to make sure they are advertising for OU Relay. Sent story to the Post. 
                        Grafitti Wall Sunday May 10th at 10 pm, we have paint, Court Street banner is ready

~Keep sending updates to Hilary- especially by mondays at noon before meetings

Next meeting is May 5th at 8pm Bentley 136
