[OUWC] 8/27 Minutes

Alrighty guys, here is what we covered at today's meeting.

Practice

  *   For tomorrow and Thursday we will continue with our Ping practices at 6:30
  *   Friday at 5:45 am meet at Ping for the 5k with the novice. Try and wear some crew swag to identify yourselves as varsity.
  *   Monday we will have our first water practice in the afternoon.
  *   Rides will be at 5:00 am for the rest of the week.

Saturday 8/31

  *   We will be picking up our boats! Meet at Ping at 8:30 am.
  *   For the Novice Picnic be at Ping at 1:30 pm.
  *   Remember to bring items like chips, hot dogs, hamburgers and their according buns. There will be a signup sheet tomorrow at practice.

Rides

I need to know the following from everyone:

  1.  If you have a car
  2.  How many you can fit, including yourself
  3.  Where you live

Other Things

  *   We will be doing Big Rower, Little Rower again this year. So start gathering ideas.
  *   We have the Sunshine Run coming up on September 14. It will be from 8:30-10:30 am. We will need people with bikes to keep track of times and people willing to hand out water.
  *   You can also choose to participate in the run as part of our community service hours.
