The Patton College to present 2nd Annual Leadership and Advocacy Summit

Athens, OH, November 6, 2012 - The Gladys W. and David H. Patton College of Education presents the Fall 2012 Leadership and Advocacy Summit, Promoting Leadership and Advocacy through Social Media and Networking, on Sunday November 18, at the Ohio University Inn Ballroom. The Summit begins at 9:30 a.m. and ends at 3:30 p.m. The Keynote speaker is Dr. Jenny Hall-Jones, Interim Dean of Students at Ohio University. Dr. Hall-Jones will open the summit with a presentation titled, "Social Media: The Grand Experiment."

In the afternoon, four interactive sessions will give participants the opportunity to gain insights into ways students and practicing professionals can benefit from (and be harmed by) social media use.

Dress: smart casual (no jeans or sweats; business attire not necessary).

The Leadership and Advocacy Summit is sponsored by The Gladys W. and David H. Patton College of Education and is open to all Ohio University students and faculty.
