[Ouretail] opportunity with Kohl's - SHADOW DAY

Hello REPD students,
Kohl's has been very generous wth the Ohio University retail merchandising and fashion product development program! The company has provided funds for us to take 24 student to Columbus to interact with Kohl's leadership team!

This will be an ALL DAY EVENT on Tuesday May 10, 2011.

A bus will depart from the Walter Hall parking lot at 8:00 am and we will return after dinner that evening.

In addition to shadowing execs, touring stores, and interacting through Q&A, Kohl's will provide lunch and dinner. This opportunity is no cost to you, but you must APPLY and be selected, because of the limited availability/space.

Please check your schedule; you will be provided with a letter indicating that this is an "excused" absence - sanctioned academic event, but you also need to make sure this fits your availabilty, etc.

Send an email to Dr. P (paulins at ohio.edu<mailto:paulins at ohio.edu>) asap, but by end of day Sunday May 1.
In the email:
1. SUBJECT line: Kohl's shadow day application
2. Include your name
3. Describe why this is of interest to you, how you plan to use the experience for your professional development, and why you should be selected for the experience.

This is an opportunity for ALL LEVELS of students (freshmen, soph, jr, sr, grad).
You will be notfied by end of day May 2 regarding your partcipation in this exciting event.
