Subject: Job Leads

Hi Dr. Paulins,

I wanted to let you know that Gap, Inc. is hiring for their Accelerated
Management Program nationwide.  I have gotten updates on their jobs page
since I worked for Banana Republic between 2007-2009.  Gap, Inc. is a
really enjoyable company, and I had a great time working there.  I'd love
to see a Bobcat get one of the positions!  Here are the links to the
listings:

Furthermore, I am currently living in Seoul, South Korea where I am
teaching English as a second language.  I have been here since the
beginning of February.  The opportunity has been absolutely wonderful!  I
can't elaborate enough how fantastic it has been.  Teaching is something I
never imagined I would enjoy as much as I do, but it has opened my eyes to
a lot of thrilling experiences.

There are an abundance of jobs here for post-grads.  Although it is not a
retail or fashion centric venture, I highly recommend it to my RM peers
because it is so wonderful and eye opening.  South Korea is a beautiful
country full of history, culture, and art.  It is a rewarding job that
builds a lot of confidence.  The contracts are for a year.  The students
are brilliant.  There are many benefits to the job (usually, the school
covers its ESL Teacher's airfare and apartment costs.  South Korea has
established national health insurance.  The pay is strong, etc.).  The
retail here is incredible, too!  Seoul is very reminiscent of NYC.  I
love going to Myeongdong to walk around in Seoul's fashion mecca.  I would
love it if you would let anyone interested know about these two websites:

If they have any questions about a teaching job here, I urge them to email
me about it  (p.n.scherf at gmail.com)!  I can't stress how great it has
been living here.  It's a great in-between college and career job.  For
anyone who is thinking about taking a year or two for themselves after
graduation, this is the perfect place to do it!

Best regards,

Nick Scherf
