Hello, Everyone!

Hope you had a great Holiday break!

This email is to remind you that the application deadline, Jan. 23, is 
approaching for the Study Abroad in China program.  We are only taking 15 
students with us. Therefore, if you plan to participate, please apply at 
your earliest convenience.  Below is a brief summary of the program:

What: 	A field trip to China, which includes:
1)	Visiting factories, who supply products to the U.S. market;
2)	Visiting International Retailers and Chinese local retailers;
3)	Visiting International Companies' overseas offices in China;
4)	Visiting Chinese Academic District,
5)	Tour of some cultural sites, such as The Great Wall, the Tiananmen 
Square, the Forbidden City, etc.
6)	Opportunities to explore the chinese culture and to do some SHOPPING
7)	Some cultural events, such as watching acrobatic show , tasting local 
foods, etc.
8)	And more…

When:	June 15-June 28, 2009

Where:	Hongkong, Shanghai and Beijing, P.R. China

Why:	Very simple. The world is getting increasingly interconnected and 
China is becoming a more and more important business partner to the U.S.

Cost: 	4-hour OU tuition + a Program fee of $3,500-$3,800, which includes 
airline tickets,hotel, local transportation and majority of the meals in 
China, and the program fee for the field trip.  You are suggested to bring 
some extra money for your own spending and for incidental expenses.

Who: 	Dr. Yingjiao Xu and Dr. Sky Cone  with 15 students who are 
undergragudate, no degree, or graduate students at Ohio University

Retail Merchandising" under "Study Abroad Programs" on the top of the very 
first page.
