Information about the Speakers:
Mike Dagne:
Moochie & Co is the concept of Mike Dagne, a successful retail executive with
over 23 years of industry experience. Having spent most of his career as a
Buyer and Merchandise Manager in apparel and accessories, Mike's strengths
revolve around fashion merchandising, product development, sourcing, brand
management, innovation, strategic planning, merchandise planning, and team
building. Mike serves as the company's President and Chief Merchant.
Mike has a successful track record in several retail sectors, having worked for
The May Company (Department Stores), Casual Corner (Specialty Retail), Sears
(Mass Merchant), and Limited Too (Branded Specialty Retail). This background
differs from nearly all pet industry insiders, as most from the pet industry
lack the fashion, creative, branding, and product development skills Mike has
developed.
Lynda Fitzgerald Holler:
While a student at Ohio University, Lynda completed her internship in NYC with
Murjani International. Murjani was a large clothing manufacturer that produced
the very successful Gloria Vanderbilt Jeans collection. After graduation she was
hired by Halston International. After Halston, she worked for Andrew Fezza
women's wear. Where the Halston job was high-end couture, Fezza women's wear was
designer sportswear. Then she started her own company named ALTERKNITIVES and
continued designing and producing private label knitwear from my home for about
8 years.During her ALTERKNITIVES' years, she began using apparel software named
Colour Matters. Then she began working with William Tsao, the developer of
Colour Matters to remove the fashion features and add features that people could
use for everyday life. Graphics-Toolbox was born!
Leah Rogers:
Leah is currently the Consultant, Marketing Campaigns for the Nationwide
Insurance Company. She is an expert in producing marketing and advertising
photography for the Financial and Insurance audience. With a focus on styling
and talent selection she makes choices that enhance brand equity. She has been
in her current role at Nationwide Insurance for 3 years and has most recently
been on the front end of a company re-branding. Prior to her career at
Nationwide she has worked as a wardrobe stylist for national commercials,
television shows, music videos and print ads throughout the country. In
additional, she has worked as a project manager for marketing campaigns. As a
student at Ohio University, Leah completed an internship in styling with Lani
Steinhouse in NYC.
