[Ouctm-l] First OUCTM meeting Tuesday, January 28th

Hello everyone!

I hope you all had a relaxing and enjoyable winter break.

I am sending out this e-mail to let everyone know we will be having our first OUCTM meeting this upcoming Tuesday, January 28th from 7:45-8:45PM in McCracken214B. At this meeting Scott Hall-Jones, a math teacher at East Local Elementary School, will be bringing in different Lego models he has and will be giving a mathematical presentation about his use of Legos inside and outside the classroom. We will be having pizza and pop at this meeting too!

If this meeting is possible for you to attend, I highly encourage you to do so. There are quite a few important announcements that will be made at this meeting that will affect our semester ahead, so I would really like to get as many members inputs as possible so we can make this one of our best semesters yet. Also, bring a friend! The more people in this organization the better! This is a good opportunity for you to not only build connections with people already in the field you would like to be in, but also to build relationships with your fellow peers who are in the same boat as you.
