2)      Wednesday January 24th 11:50 Irvine 159, OCEES Ecolunch - Rachael Olson Biological Sciences - Comparative insights into the anatomy, function, and biomechanics of the mammalian tongue.

3)      Wednesday January 31 11:50 Irvine 159, OCEES Ecolunch Charelene Hopkins Biological Sciences. How to Build a Better Ecopassage: Evaluating Amphibian Use and Preference of Various Ecopassage Design

4)      Thursday February 1st is the CAS Career Week with increased STEM career awareness. There will be a PBIO Career panel discussion from 15:00 - 16:00 in Baker Center 239 and Alumni & Student Networking reception 16:30 - 19:00, Baker Center Ballroom. Please announce to your classes.

5)      Friday February 2nd 11:50  Porter 104 PBIO Seminar Tony Scardina, the Forest Supervisor for the Wayne National Forest. He will be talking about the forest service, and what is happening at the WNF.

6)      Registration for Student Research Expo is open. Due to the overwhelming number of students last year there are rumors of a cap in the number of posters that will be accepted this year. Take home message is to have your students register ASAP to make sure they get a slot. 7)      Finally, as we move forward with Steve Reilly retiring and the board having elected Willem Roosenburg as the new director. We are now accepting nominations/volunteers for assistant director. Please send your interest / nominations to roosenbu at ohio.edu
