OHPARCers,

A few items of interest:

* Remember to save the date for OHPARC's first Ohio Amphibian & Reptile Conference to be held on 20 March 2018 in Columbus, Ohio. More details to follow.

* PARC has formed a national diversity, equity, and inclusion task team and is looking for interested individuals to be a part of the team. See the attachment for more information. If you’re interested in joining, please contact Neha Savant at diversity at parcplace.org<mailto:diversity at parcplace.org>

* At this year's Midwest Fish and Wildlife Conference, there will be a symposium on Advances and Challenges in Amphibian and Reptile Conservation and Management: http://www.midwestfw.org/html/call-for-presentations.shtml
For those wishing to submit a presentation, the deadline is October 16. The conference is 28-31 Jan 2018 in Milwaukee, WI.

* Nominations are open until 27 October for PARC's Alison Haskell Award for Excellence in Herpetofaunal Conservation. Honor a colleague who goes above and beyond to conserve amphibians and reptiles using this Google docs form<https://docs.google.com/forms/d/1uUqOQm8HSYAWorgx13lKfqNJje8hAMfMO2_8C5PDbzQ/edit?ts=59ce7091>.

* We are still seeking a volunteer (preferably with WordPress experience) to help keep ohparc.org<http://ohparc.org> up to date and looking great. If you are able and willing, contact the co-chairs (GregLipps at gmail.com<mailto:GregLipps at gmail.com> and Matt.Cross at toledozoo.org<mailto:Matt.Cross at toledozoo.org>).

Hope everyone is enjoying the unseasonably warm weather!

Greg
