Did you ever think, Hm it would be really fun to run in bathing suit attire at the end of February? Well you should because it is a clothes drive for the homeless and families in need of clothes. Below is the information for Bare on the Bricks: A Nearly Naked Mile. If anyone is interested in doing it the information is below. It is a clothes drive for the homeless and less fortunate in the Athens Area. It is February 23rd at 11:30 STARTING IN BAKER!

Feb. 15 • 11 a.m.-3 p.m.

The Student Alumni Board and Phi Kappa Psi are proud to present "Bare On The Bricks," Ohio University's Fourth Annual Nearly Naked Mile! The goal of Bare on the Bricks is to collect clothing to be donated to local shelters, organizations and families in need. Participants should come to the Honors Collegium (4th floor Baker Center) fully dressed and then strip down to a bare minimum of bathing suit attire (or to your point of comfort) upon arrival and right before the run down Court Street begins!

Last year we were ecstatic to have collected nearly 1,000 pounds of clothing donated due to the generosity of our runners. We hope to see this number grow even more this year! Following the run there will be an after, at Courtside, party offering free food to our participants. Come prepared to "streak" down Court St. no matter the weather!



Pre-registration is $10, day-of registration is $12.

The first 300 registered participants will receive a free gift with the Bare on the Bricks logo to commemorate the event.

  *   Check-In begins at 11:30 a.m. at Honors Collegium (4th Floor of Baker Center)
  *   Event begins at 1 p.m. at Courtside for after party
  *   Run is from College Green to Carpenter and Court Street Intersection
  *   First 500 registered participants will receive a drawstring backpack
  *   All donations will benefit local shelters, organizations and families
  *   After party
