[Newman-l] Friday, Friday, lots going on at the PC on Friday

Happy Thursday All! (or I expect you'll read this Thursday, for those of you sitting on your email it's still Wednesday)

I am sending this little note to remind everyone of two things coming up THIS FRIDAY:

    -@ 3pm there will be a meeting for all those interested in participating in Race for a Reason (April 28th)
      if you still haven't heard of it check out this website: ouraceforareason.com
            -Meeting will be held in the Parish Center lobby
            -Bring $5 (to sign up to run!)
            -If you can't come but want to participate EMAIL ME by next Wednesday

    -Newman is hosting the Lenten Fish Fry this week!
            -we need volunteers to help serve food, clean up dishes, wash dishes, collect money, represent the                 group in an awesome way, etc etc. Contact me to volunteer :)
            -Volunteers should arrive for this @ 3:30pm and of course meet at the PC
            (If you can't come until later just let me know-no reason you still can't help!)
            -We are having a bake sale during the event so if you would like to bake something I am still accepting             donations/baked goodies! Let me know asap please.
            -ALSO come to eat if you can/want-it's a great way to support not only Newman but all the Church                 groups and be present in the parish and you can't eat meat so get your fish!


I know all of you are reading this getting FIRED UP to help Newman raise some funds! Just shoot me an email letting me know where I can expect your help. Btw bring friends or invite them to the fish fry! I really hope to see lots of familiar, smiling faces Friday.
