[Newman-l] ATTENTION ALUMNI & Current Newman Members

Hello all,

This is mainly for the alumni who have remained on list-serv.  All the current Newman members will be getting this information in the upcoming weeks.  On the Saturday of Homecoming (October 13), Newman will be hosting a cook-out after the football game.  It will take place at the Parish Center and be a very informal event.  The game starts at 2p so my guess is that the cookout will start about 5p or 6p and will last however long people want to hang around.  I know the alumni who will be in town are probably pretty busy all weekend, but we would love for you to stop by.  This is a great chance for all previous Newman members to interact and get to meet the current Newman members.  Look for this event on our Facebook page: Ohio University Newman Catholic Community.  Try to RSVP through Facebook or by sending me an email sometime so we can have a general idea of how much food to prepare.  But of course, even if you don't get a chance to RSVP, you are more than welcome to stop by.  I also want to really stress that the alumni who get this information (and even current Newman members who are still in contact with alumni) pass it on to other alumni.  Hope to see everyone there!
